- Closed and moved in!
- One last hiccup. BoA made a last minute point adjustment due to credit score drop … due to a hard inquiry … that they performed. This was a difference of 2.5k at closing that came out of my pocket. Escalated to an SVP to rectify.
- Sent the mover’s certificate of insurance to the super.
- Requested an electrical load analysis from the super for washer/dryer.
- Went to home depot to learn about flooring.
- Hardwood vs laminate vs vinyl. Hardwood most expensive, engineered vs solid. Laminate is made to look like wood. Slightly waterproof. Vinyl is fake, fully waterproof, cheapest.

- Around $3/sqft for material, $3/sqft for levelling, $3/sqft for removal, $3/sqft for labor. If I need all, it will be about 10k. Else, if I can put vinyl on top, about 5k.
- Since I’m not going to be here forever, the latter is the best option.
- Top choices right now: LifeProof Vinyl Plank, either Chiffon Lace Oak or Driftwood Beach. If laminate: Pergo Outlast+, Graceland Oak.
- Pick up the cubestorage items, cancelled the unit, all good.
- Building is handling window and stainless steel sink tubes.
