• From 2012-2018 I blogged my activities daily. I found it an extremely useful practice, for many reasons:
      • Reference for management.
      • Reference for review season. It summarized my major accomplishments, doing most of the work for me.
      • Reference for myself. I would search my entire blog almost daily for previous posts with useful information.
    • The time investment to write was worth the value of reference.
    • Most blogs were of the format: (1) Planned (2) Emergent (3) Other. This allowed autoclassification of work.
    • The blog that I posted on daily was Confluence. After I left SpaceX, I lost those blogs, and then I switched to Medium. After Medium, I decided to just switch to a document that I stored on my Google Drive, and edited in-browser via Google Docs. The google doc began to get a bit unwieldy, so I returned to exploration of an explicit blogging service. Blogger is a Google product for this, and integrates with a free domain hosting on blogspot.
